, the unaccredited, for-profit private school is well-known overseas, especially in india, as a place to obtain a student visa and study in the united states. we're told that the university of northern virginia has thousands of students at three locations in northern virginia. now, posted on the door of the location is a notice that says per i.c.e., the school's certification is being investigated to see whether it's conforming to federal regulations for the administration of student visas. now, we talked with a student who says he is very surprised by the law enforcement presence here. >> lots of students are coming from india to get the visa on u.s. embassy, on the base of uva. >> reporter: you're going to school. >> yes, we attend regular classes in a week, and i attend the exams and all of the things. i don't know what is the problem. >> reporter: now, this investigation does not mean the school is closed. it does not mean the students can't come here and attend classes. what it means is that the way the university of northern virginia administers these all-important student visas to foreig
